With the new Color Video Door Answering Intercom, you can see who's at the door before answering it. This provides for more security and  convenience by being able to both hear and see who's actually there. When a caller presses the lighted call button on the door station, a four stroke electronic chime sounds at the main station handset / monitor and the 4" TFT color LCD monitor turns on. The KC-DAR door station camera image view area is approximately 24" horizontal, 3'8"-7'9" vertical (when camera is installed at 4'3" high).

Other features at the main station are door release (for optional electric strike), Monitor ( see and listen to entry area without being called ). Simple to install, the Color Video Door Answering Intercom operates on just two wires, the same as a doorbell!
